    Tasty

    The carmalized crust is awesome!

    Best Pizza

As a big fat guy I love a good pie and Pequods is by far the best in Chicago. I've tried them all and Pequods beats them all.

    Not to my liking

Crust tastes like cardboard. Sauce is sweet...never again!

    Best Pizza In Town

They have the best pizza in Chicago, hands down, but be prepared to wait for it. The service is lackluster at best, but the pizza is definately worth the trouble.

    Doing chicago pizza proud

I don't care what people say about Lou Mal's or Giordano's or Due's or whathaveyou. Admittedly they are all great. Pequod is better in my view because of the sauce. Sauce makes pizza. Their deep dish is traditional chicago style, nice crust, great sauce - its slightly sweet. I can't vouch for anything else on the menu because I've only had the pizza - oh, the salad is average. But if you feel like you've had the others too many times, they do chicago pizza proud. and rate restaurants, i need advice too.

    A well-kept Chicago secret...

Growing up near the original hole-in-the-wall location in Morton Grove, I am proud to say I've been enjoying Pequod's deep dish pizza for many years now...I've tried all the other renowned joints --Due, Uno, Pizano's, Lou Malnati's, Giordano's, etc., and by and away, Pequod's is still my #1...Is that pizza burnt?! Mm... No!! That's their "trademark" carmelized crust, jerky....And if you're a pepperoni lover like me, then by all means, go for it! They are certainly not stingy with the meat...
