Good Food! Cheap on rice
The jibaritos very good, the hot sauce is also great. What I didn't like was that they measure the amount of rice & if you ask for hot sauce forget about it. The lady looks at me like she wants to charge me extra for it. A guy came in from the heat July 2 2011 and ask the owner for some water & I can't believe he denied him water. How can anyone deny someone water. Other than that the food is great just don't use the washroom.

Great Rican food for cheap!
Their Lechon (pig) is amazing on saturdays, get there early if you want the cuero. Their chicken is cooked rotisserie style so it is very juicy and well spiced. Their Jibarito's are great for the price, not the best on earth, but darn good for the $6 you pay for one with rice and beans. all the sides are great and their flan is home made and delicious! Even my mother loved it and being in Puerto Rico for 35 years she has had her fair share fo great flan. give it a shot!

I love Chicken
Love their food, especially their chicken. Wish there was more to choose from because since everything I had tried tasted delicious, I am sure anything else they add to menu would also take just as great. Prices are reasonable. Place could be bigger because they are so popular. It's nice to know this is a family owned business.

Great food!!!
Love this place! The food is great, the service is wonderful, I just wish the place was a little bigger but I normally come during the week when its not busy so its not too bad. The prices cant be beat, you get alot of great food for real cheap. I love the Rotisserie chicken and the yuca is the best!

delicious, affordable, & family owned
this restaurant is one of my favorites in the city. the chicken rotisserie is succulant, aromatic, and is cooked so well that the chicken is moist every bite. the menu is clearly starch-heavy with puerto rican delicacies like arroz, a garlic-oiled yuca, and tostones that are the perfect crunch and flavor. i also argue that their steak jibaritos are impeccably the best. there is limited dessert here, so plan dessert elsewhere. the delivery is also dependable and fast with portions equal to what you would be served sitting in the establishment. customarily expect speedy service with a local clientele, busy around lunch/dinner time and an annoying gaggle of chicago police officers at random meal times.
