Great Italian Deli
I'm from NY, and I knew coming to chicago I would need to find a decent deli. But this place serves not only great sandwiches, but great entree dishes as well. I had the meatball sub the first time, and the meatballs were so flavorful. They have amazing homemade pasta, as good if not better than any high priced restaurant you would find in the city. All the food is homemade, using the freshest ingredients. Even the pasta they make is made fresh and not out of a box. Good list of italian goods imported from italy and some made local in the shop as well. Highly recommend.

Great subs - great party food
After becoming a bit of a "regular" for their Italian sub sandwich (to die for), I needed some food for a small party in my condo. Ordered some lasagna, sausage and peppers, salad, bread, and a 3 foot sub. Ordering was easy, was ready to pick up when I requested it - and was DELICIOUS!

compares well to NY italian delis
Since moving out to Chicago from NY in Sept '08, I've been dying to find a place with good fresh mozzarella and great prosciutto and Panozzo's is the 1st I've come across that compares to great NY Italian delis.
