    poor service

We went to NoMi's for my daughter's B-day. Two of us ordered the rib eye and my daughter odered the shrimp. The steaks were okay, not the best I've had by far, and the shrimp with that rice dish was really bad. The service was bad, too. Once our waitor took our order we never saw him again until he brought us the dessert menu. Not once did he return to offer us another cocktail or a refill of our soda. The ONLY service we got was from the water waitors who continuosly refilled the water glasses. NoMI is off our list !!!!

    Sunday Brunch

My BF and I went here for sunday brunch. Let me tell you one thing we DID NOT expect: for sunday brunch, this place becomes a buffet and they charge a whooping $50/person; $25/child!! We didn't expect SUCH a steep price or know it was buffet style. However, the food was good and of nice quality. You can get one entree + the buffet. There wasn't anything too unusual from their buffet offerings but the desserts were REALLL unique and good! If you have a sweet tooth, you will be VERY pleased w/ their sunday brunch desserts...there's A LOT of variety and it's a good quality dessert. Overall, the brunch was good but the desserts were REAL good...a bit pricy for sunday brunch.

    Good for special occasions

Maybe a bit too expensive for the serving sizes, but excellent food and service. Try to get a window seat for a great view of the Old Water Tower and Michigan Ave. You are only about 7 stories high, so you obviously don't get a Hancock Observatory view of the city, but I went during the Christmas holidays and the Christmas lights along Michigan Ave were spectacular nonetheless.
