Delicious night out, fresh, quality foods

We had an excellent experience here. Yes, it's not as cheap as some other places but they get extremely fresh, high quality foods that unfortunately cost them more as well. but MMM you can taste it. the peaches were practically born to be on the salad plate we had, just lovely, and the peas on a previous visit had "come out of the ground that morning". service was great, though sometimes I did wonder where my server was, and it is just a beautiful space. I definitely want to keep seeing what they do there, the menu I am told is constantly changing. I would think it can only improve with time, and it's already great.

    Eh, Okay

The space is really really pretty, but I don't know if everything else is quite up to snuff. For the neighborhood, it's really expensive - $30 for a rabbit entree? In PILSEN? I know it's So-and-So Farms but that still seems a little excessive. For that matter the food is good but not spectacular, and two of us ordered the same dish (pappardelle with broccoli) and had completely different portion sizes. Service was friendly when they paid attention to us, but the staff seemed pretty out to lunch when it came to knowing when we wanted to order drinks, order food, get more water, get the check, etc. - and a few simple questions on our part about the menu were met with blank stares or promises to ask the kitchen. Would love to see more attention to service and consistency, and prices about 20% lower. Then it'd be a 5/5. For now this is a 3.5 restaurant.
