Prices are just too high.
I went here many moons ago and really enjoyed the food. At that time, the prices were reasonable. Now they are WAY too high for tapas/small plates. When tapas cost as much as a full entree at most restaurants, what's the point of going out for tapas?

Mediocre place
This place is very average. There are plenty of restaurants with much better tapas and for a lot less in Chicago. Atmosphere is nothing special either. Service was good though. Don't waste your time.

Best Mediteranean food in town
Nia's is one of the best restaurant I've visited in a long time. The food, and the services were excellent. I feel very confident to refer anyone to try it. I just can't stop going there, it is that good.

Great new addition to Randolph Street
I visited Nia's earlier this week with my two nephews prior to catching a late night showing of Batman at IMAX, so we had somewhat of time schedule. We sat outside which was great. I ordered the chef's suggestion prix fixe dinner. The chef came to our table and asked what kinds of things I would be interested to have included in the meal e.g. seafood or meats. He also explained what fresh [select]ions were in the kitchen that evening. My nephews ordered a variety of small plates. Everything was delicious, well planned, prepared and uted. The wait staff was extremely attentive. We had two additional people join us through the meal and they made the adjustment effortlessly. Order a cherry mojito-fabulous. Nia came over and talked with us about her place and was very welcoming. The whole evening was a great experience and I would highly recommend this restaurant. I thought the value was good compared to the over-priced stand-by's on Randolph street. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Too expensive for what it offers
The food was good but nothing to impress you. Definitely too pricey . The service could be better also: we had to ask two times for bread and we were charged extra for it. It is a place were I definitely would not go back.

Go To Nia's!
I had a wonderful dinner at Nia's Tapas last night. The broiled octopus and escargot were very unique and delicious. The service was perfect and the manager and owner were friendly and talkative. I was also happy when I saw how inexpensive the bill was! My only suggestion is to work on the atmosphere.
