Always very clean inside, and the people working there are very nice. Food tastes fresh and unique, and is inexpensive. The buff guy with the comb-over in Lakeview is great and really helpful if you've never been there before. He is pretty nice to look at also. I'd recommend this place for something different.

It was really good I am doing the Nu-Lan challenge.......I'm working my way down the sandwich board by number.........I'm on #10 and I am really liking the flavors.

This place was a great little spot to slip into for a quick sandwich and smoothie for cheap, and also to enjoy the Vietnamese ambiance and courtesy, but management recently put several giant televisions into the small space (like, 12 X 15), and now soap operas blare sex plots full blast all day long. You can't have a conversation or read a book and some of the tv situations bigger-than-life four feet from your nose are embarrassing.

I have gone by this place so many times. Finally, decided to try it. Reasonable prices , great tasting sandwiches. Give it a try.

I walked into this place a few times and looked at the pictures on the wall - tilted my head - not quite understanding what a Vietnamese sandwich would be all about - and walked out with the smoothie I came for. My wife finally bought some sandwiches and shared with me. Yum ! I'm glad she did. I love this place ! Try a #4.

This little storefront sits unassumingly on Lawrence Avenue. I had driven past it at least 200 times before I ever noticed it and am I glad I finally woke up! They have the MOST DELICIOUS Bahn Mi sandwiches that I have ever had.. Blows Ba-Le Bakery out of the water.. Fillings are delicious and sandwiches are HUGE. The bread is fresh-baked on the premises.. nice and crisp on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. All ingrediets are super-fresh and generous as are the rest of the sandwich fillings. I can't believe they cost only $2.50 to $3.00.. The Buy 5 get 1 Free ALWAYS compels me to buy 6, which then allows me to give 1 or 2 away to friends to enlighten them. The delicous flan is also a nice treat if you have room. I've never been disappointed by the quality or the flavor.. Our family of 4 easily dine for under $20 including dessert! Enjoy!

This place has the best Vietnamese sandwiches I've ever had. I highly recommend them over BaLe..the bread is fresher and softer. My favorite is the grilled pork sandwich (also known as the #4) with all the trimmings. I do warn you that this place can be addictive..I stop by atleast 3 times a week!
