The best I've ever had.. Great service.. Even better value..
This little storefront sits unassumingly on Lawrence Avenue. I had driven past it at least 200 times before I ever noticed it and am I glad I finally woke up! They have the MOST DELICIOUS Bahn Mi sandwiches that I have ever had.. Blows Ba-Le Bakery out of the water.. Fillings are delicious and sandwiches are HUGE. The bread is fresh-baked on the premises.. nice and crisp on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. All ingrediets are super-fresh and generous as are the rest of the sandwich fillings. I can't believe they cost only $2.50 to $3.00.. The Buy 5 get 1 Free ALWAYS compels me to buy 6, which then allows me to give 1 or 2 away to friends to enlighten them. The delicous flan is also a nice treat if you have room. I've never been disappointed by the quality or the flavor.. Our family of 4 easily dine for under $20 including dessert! Enjoy!

Highly recommeded!
This place has the best Vietnamese sandwiches I've ever had. I highly recommend them over BaLe..the bread is fresher and softer. My favorite is the grilled pork sandwich (also known as the #4) with all the trimmings. I do warn you that this place can be addictive..I stop by atleast 3 times a week!

Better than I've Ever Had!
Nhu Lan is only a small storefront bakery/sandwich shop with a couple of small tables in the front, but the bahn mi sandwiches they turn out are unbelievable. They are fresh, crispy, delicious and HUGE in size... much larger than some that I've had from other restaurants. They bake their sandwich rolls fresh each day (another hing many other bahn mi sandwich shops can't claim) and they are the perfect combo of crisp and tenderness. And, if you buy 5, you get one free! Nhu Lan also offers a range of other vietnamese sweets and savories.. rice cake rolls, spring rolls, pastries, etc. and an entire refrigerator case of interesting and yummy asian drinks. I am asian myself and many of those drinks bring back fond memories of my childhood. If you want to enjoy any of their other offerings warm, just ask and they'll nuke it for you! I was very impressed by Nhu Lan. Most of their sandwiches are $3 or under (a few are just a tick over). Inexpensive and delicious. The perfect combo during our difficult economy. If you're a bahn mi fan, I would encourage you to make the visit.
