stopped on a sunday at noon, place was busy, had to wait about 15-20 min. which i didn't think was bad at all. we both had breakfast which was very good, shared an order of chick pea fries, they were very good and great sauces to go with. breakfast potatoes were delicious. picked up po-boy to take home, as good as any i have had in nowlins', hope they start doin soft shell crab!!! over all, service was good, waitress was great, owner stopped by table to check on us, wil go back anytime in chi-town!!!

Saw the "Check Please" spot, went for lunch at 10:45am on a Saturday and it was crowded. Only 1 waiter so the service was too slow and he never came back to see if we needed anything until it was time to give us the check. Lunch menu only had about 4 sandwiches to choose from. The food was good, I will go back to try breakfast, but dinner is too expensive for me at that place.

I stopped in for breakfast and ordered the chilleques. It was a nice sized portion of layerd corn tortilla lasagna with a scoop of plain black beans. The green sauce that covered it was good. I ordered it with poached eggs. The problem I had was it took forever to get my breakfast in a restaurant where I was the second customer. The only thing that required cooking was the poached eggs. When they arrived they were just laying on the plate. I asked that they be placed in a cup. They cook apparantly did not like that. When my plate arrived, the eggs were in a cup but the rest of the breakfast was barely warm. The cost was $11.00. A little steep for Bridgeport and apparantly I was expected to eat the way the cook thought I should. In that case the breakfast should be free. I won't be back

If you eat organically, this is the place for you. If you are chemically sensitive, then this is your destination stop. here you can eat organically, and literally put your money where your mouth is. Save room for the desserts!

The two young owners are earnest and enthusiastic about their organic local food. Interesting delicious choices reasonably priced
