Love everything about this place. Especially because they are right in front of my job!

    Excellent Food and Supeb Service

Each time I visit My Thai Restaurant in the DePaul Center, it is a wonderful expereience. The food is excellent, The service is superb. I enjoy the ginger chicken, the mixed vegetables with chicken and the rest of the meals on the menu. I always drink the Jasmine tea which is so delicious. The appetizers are always delicious like the rest of the food on the menu. I always feel that I am at home. The staff is super efficient and provides immediate service. The servers are professional and very friendly and caring. As a regular customer, I want to come again and again. I highly recommend My Thai restaurant (and I have) to anyone who wants to experience the delicious food from Thailand.

    Eh

Not worth it. Bland food, dry when it's supposed to be in a sauce or dripping in sticky sweet sauce when it's supposed to be dry. Cheap for sure, but it should have been a warning when we went in and there was only 1 other table filled in the whole restaurant. Can't complain about the service, given that we were their only customers... Ok if all you want is fast, cheap, not very good Thai food

Run - don't walk - away from this place!

This place is disappointingl! The wait staff is too busy texting and giggling to care about doing their jobs. When you order food, it comes out in 3 mins - there's no way they cooked Basil chicken fresh in 3 minutes - the food is sitting out cold in the back until you walk in and then they microwave it. I ordered my food spicy and it comes with no spice. They don't care if you aren't happy with food or service. I have been a loyal customer each week for over a year, and when I complained about the bad service, cold food and wrong order, they didn't care! Is that how you treat a loyal customer? Just go elsewhere - they don't deserve your business if they are not going to cook the food fresh, serve it as ordered or care about their customers.. There is another thai place 6 blocks away - it's probably worth the walk!

    Thai Fast Food - essentially.

This place has decent plates of Thai food standbys for the downtown lunch crowd. Don't come here if you're looking for extremely authentic, satisfying Thai food just off the boat. It's a chain restaurant, but it does deliver what it claims, and it's fast. You can get in and out in less than an hour, and the dish you order will likely taste the same each time you purchase it. This consistency and expediency is part of the reason I go here, and I loooove their ginger noodle with tofu, it's really good. The crab rangoon is good, too. If you're looking for authentic, there's not much downtown, but there is plenty in other parts of the city. But if you're looking for a quick lunch or dinner with decent flavor and lots of food (cooked fresh), MyThai is your bag.

Hands down the best Pad Thai downtown!

This is seriously the BEST pad thai downtown. Every couple of days I have a hankering for pad thai and My Thai always satisfies the craving. I go there about once a week, if not more. I order pad thai with tofu and extra vegetables on top and skip the egg/peanuts. I'm ordering for lunch today and enticed my co-workers, too!
