    Thai Fast Food - essentially.

This place has decent plates of Thai food standbys for the downtown lunch crowd. Don't come here if you're looking for extremely authentic, satisfying Thai food just off the boat. It's a chain restaurant, but it does deliver what it claims, and it's fast. You can get in and out in less than an hour, and the dish you order will likely taste the same each time you purchase it. This consistency and expediency is part of the reason I go here, and I loooove their ginger noodle with tofu, it's really good. The crab rangoon is good, too. If you're looking for authentic, there's not much downtown, but there is plenty in other parts of the city. But if you're looking for a quick lunch or dinner with decent flavor and lots of food (cooked fresh), MyThai is your bag.

Hands down the best Pad Thai downtown!

This is seriously the BEST pad thai downtown. Every couple of days I have a hankering for pad thai and My Thai always satisfies the craving. I go there about once a week, if not more. I order pad thai with tofu and extra vegetables on top and skip the egg/peanuts. I'm ordering for lunch today and enticed my co-workers, too!

    Unpleasant

Really disappointing. I had a craving for Thai food (I love Thai food and eat it all the time) and stopped here for takeout. Ordered the Pad Kemow with extra vegetables. There were hardly any vegetables at all - less than what should be standard. I'm sure the waitress understood what I wanted, because I saw her write it down. It was also extremely flavorless and dry, with barely any sauce in it and very little basil. Some of the noodles had black marks on them, perhaps from being burnt. I had been hoping for enough food to have two meals - it was enough for one and a little extra, which is okay. I'm fine with small servings if the food is decent quality - however, I had dry, flavorless noodles with hardly any sauce or veggies and very little meat. The fact that the meal was worth maybe thirty cents of noodles at the most makes it a rip off.

Why is the food so mediocre....at best?

I really wanted to like the food since I moved into an office building a block away from it. I've given it 5 tries so far, ordering something different every time, and each time I'm left wondering how it can be so poor. There is no flavor in the dishes. So disappointing....

    My Thai

I have tried many Thai restaurants, but this is one truly one of the best!
