If you want a high quality, yet unpretentious eatery, try Mr V's on Elston. They've been around for over 35 years and simply the best pizza and italian beef around. If you like thin crust, here it is. It is super thin, with savory sauce and fixins (I like the Mrs V myself-sausage, mushrooms, peppers and onions). The Italian beef is seasoned well and just melts in your mouth. Way better than other joints. If you're in the area, give it a try!

Grew up down the street from Mr.V's pizza and is the BEST Pizza in all of Chicago in my opinion! Also love the onion rings and mozz sticks. Great food. Great price. Great service. 5 stars! (out of five no doubt)!!!

astonishing beefs, mouthwatering burgers, and of course their signature pizza makes this place the best in the world. Every item on their menu will fill you up and have you wanting more. they also use heart-healthy oil for cooking, making it possibly the best value and test that you'll only find once in a lifetime unless you live nearby

We have been getting Mr V's pizza for over 30 years and it has always been the favorite in our house.

Chicago has many pizza places, some of which have formed local or national chains. In my opinion, Mister V’s surpasses them all. The thin crust pizza is marvelous. The crust is cracker-thin, with a floury taste. The sauce is mildly tangy, but not sweet; it has a nice tomato and oregano flavor. The cheese is well blended and flavorful. Finally, the toppings are fresh and cover the entire pizza at the right amount. Mr. V’s also makes a great Italian Beef sandwich. The beef is made by Mr. V’s, from scratch, and the sandwiches are well seasoned and moist. Mr. V’s is primarily a carryout place, but there is sufficient seating for people who wish to dine in. The service was good and the food was served promptly.
