    Tips & Links Combo?

This meal should be called a Gristle & LINKS combo. The rib tibs were barely the size of mini a Post-it anf were 40-50% gristle. What a disappointment. The fries and BBQ sauce was on point though. Oh and those LINKS (two of them) were massive. I guess the was to accomodate for the gristle tips. Where's the meat!

Not the best - Not at all

The food is just average at best. We were not impressed with this little hole in the wall. Avoid at all costs. Found nothing redeeming about this restaurant.

    Pretty Good

I'm new to the area and was looking for a place that served BBQ. I read a couple of reviews on the place and figured they were good enough for me to give Rick's a try. The place didn't disappoint. I had the hot link sandwich and loved every bite. They forgot to give me bread which kinda defeats of purpose of buying a "sandwich" but I wasn't too upset since I took it home. The food was warm and very tasty. I also had a side of the spaghetti but I wasn't too pleased with it. Overall, I am very happy with the amount of food, taste, and value I got for the money.

    Disgusting

The food was absolutely subpar. I've eaten better fried chicken at a Flying J's truckstop in S.E. Missouri and I've had better Bourbon chicken at a shopping mall "cajun" joint. Do yourself a favour and skip this ghastly food.

    Jerk & Bourbon Chicken

The fries where cold and the jerk chicken meat was dry as the Sahara

    Worth The Travel

Mississippi Ricks is worth the travel and a real treat to my family and I. We travel from 107th and KingDrive and I have a brother that stays in Oak Park and when he is come to visit he make sure he stop at Missippi Ricks and he always bring my favorite side dish the tastey vegtables. It took us a long time to find a good rib place after Ribsupreme went out of bussiness and I think we are sticking with Mississippi Ricks
