Great margarites, great food!
This is my favorite mexican restaurant in Chicago, my husband and I go so frequently, the wait staff know us by name and greet us with hugs and free tequila. I have never had a bad meal here, and if you actually stray past the "typical" mexican fare that you find at american mexican restaurants, the seafood and steak offerings are excellent. And nothing beats their lemon flavored margaritas.

How much crack did the last guy smoke?
The last review made it seem like this place is terrible in every way. We have been going here for 2 years now. Great prices , great food, good service and a huge menu selection that tastes great. Even the environment is enjoyable and colorful with very authentic Mexican decor. The last reviewer is completely wrong and it makes me wonder if he is some guy from another restaurant trying to sink Mi Tierra for some reason.

Hot, crowded, unprofessional management, waitress didn't speak english and got two items wrong that I ordered. Food not very good. Much better places for Mexican in Chicago.
