    Re-Open!

I happened to drive by last week and saw the neon light was on with signs in the windows saying they were open again. Same family, same menu. Stopped for dinner and it was just as good as it was before.

Please reopoen in the Southwest suburbs

You obviously have a very strong very disappointed following. Please consider opening a small place in Tinley Park. Keep the great food available for the next generation.

    worst news in awhile

cant believe it! i've been going there since i was two months old,no exaggeration, been there at least 2000 times. i have so many memories of this place with my mother(she passed away nov 2010) and it was hers and mine favorite place in the world for tacos.. grew up in the northwest suburbs and have made that trek with my mouth watering. this is a sad day for taco lovers everywhere. please keep us posted if your relocating . im glad my mom dosent know about this...... she started going there in 1963 and her last trip was in 2009. still cant belive this

    So upset

I've been going to Mexican Inn since 1972 and last month when I went there was disappointed to see the sign that said on Vacation see you next month. So when I drove there last week and seen the for sale sign I was heart broken! There is no place even close to the same! And I always got the sauce to go too. Now what? Not only can't i get those tacos no more of that sauce?! I was hoping they opened back up till it sold to ask them for the sauce recipe but looks like another of my favorite places closed down. Might as well move away now!

    4 generations of deliciousness

Well I am sorry to hear that Mexican Inn has closed its doors after soo long. I am 29 now and would travel my 45min ride there and remember going there as a kid with my grandpa who went to school with the owner. It has been 4 delicious generations. I will miss you so. From the voice on the phone hello mexican inn, to the ice, to the rice, from the red sauce that drenched my crispy chicken tacos to the brown gravy over my cheese and onion enchilada and and how can i forget the vinegar salad which i never eat anywhere else bc its just not the same. Yes I can say obsessed... :( If anyone is out there and reads this I would love to have some memorabilia from the restaurant that I have shared so many yummy years with.
