Every time I go to this place, I have a bad experience. Then I wait a few months, and I give it another chance. Then I have another bad experience. I recently had my last bad experience. The food is OK, but the managerial staff is awful and they frequently mess up my order. It's just not worth it.

I had fond memories of going here with excellent food and service. This time the food and the service was mediocre.

Not all the time, but most times the service is slow.

I usually try to stop in for some breakfast o lunch about once a month. I've tried a little bit of everything, with no disappointments! It's not the best place i've ever been, but it has pretty good food at really good prices.

This is a true diner. It has lots of great food for a great price. Our favorites include the crepes, the vegetarian chili and the whole chicken dinner... and did we mention the pie? Don't be dissuaded by the lack of American cheese and the bold yellow awning - this place is great!

I lived in Hyde Park for about six months before I decided to stop at Mellow Yellow. I was lured in by its 3.99 breakfaast special sign. I ordered normal breakfast, scrambled eggs, pancakes and sausage. I should have known something was awry when the waitress acted as though I had five heads when I asked for American cheese in my omlet. "No sweetie, only cheddar!" Needless to say, when my food came, it was greasy and tasteless. Even my coffee tasted weird. I couldn't even eat my food, I had to order a croissant instead. Suprisingly, the croissant was fabulous. Don't go to this place if you want to enjoy your breakfast/
