    Not Recommended

Living in the neighborhood for many years this has been my stand by Chinese carryout until last week. Truthfully we havent been there for at least a year but after Thursday's meal we will not go back any time soon. Eggrolls were soggy, hot & sour soup was off and the duck was so over cooked that if we had 5 bites of meat we were lucky. Not sure what happened here but it was poor. Sorry MeeMah.

Best Chinese food outside of Chinatown!

Consistently good food, fresh and the staff is amazing! Family run and you know corners won't be cut. Everyone there is always friendly and willing to go the extra mile.

    Best pressed duck on Northside

You can find more authentic Cantonese Hong Kong style food on Argyle (Sun Wah), and better vegetable dishes in Chinatown (of course), but on the far north side of town, this is one of very few neighborhood Chinese restaurants with pressed duck. Egg rolls are tasty too. The decor is nicer than your usual neighborhood Chinese casual joint, and it's a family owned and run place that's friendly. If you're close enough to order delivery, they more often than not make a mistake on the order, or the delivery person gets lost, or both, so try to stop in, it's a nice place anyway.

    consistantly great food

I discovered Mee Mah about 5 years ago and it is consistantly the best Chinese-American food in the city. Ive tried all the appetizers and they are always fresh and hot. People I have taken there, continue to say they have the best eggrolls theyve had anywhere. Although they dont have any 'new, fusion or trendy' tastes, they continue to serve the freshest and tastiest 'Standard, Chinese-American-fare in a very friendly setting. Particularly the two waitress's that have been there since I found MeeMah! They are the Sweetest and seem to know every single customer that comes in the door! You can ALWAYS count on Mee Mah's to deliver exactly what your looking for, when you need to satisfy that 'Crab Rangoon' craving!
