McCormick & Schmick's

Went here with my sister and her friend. We were trying to decide between 3 different places to eat at and ended up going to this place due to the misleading review on this site. We went for happy hour and the food was mediocre at best and a huge dissapointment to say the least. Half the food showed up on time, and the other half we had to wait to get for more than half and hour. We finally had to ask the waitress what was going on and five minutes later she finally had the food for us. Didn't matter though because the food was a big disappointment. The only good thing was the fish taco. The rest was a joke. I never waste take the time to write reviews about places, but after this experience I had to write to warn others. The staff was good, especially the lady who took over for the original waiter so I have nothing against them. And the atomosphere was hard to judge given how empty the bar area was. We definitely won't be going back. I am visiting from Dallas, so while I don't know the area, it seemed like there were plenty of other choices close by this place. I recommend you try some other place.

Been here twice, and I think the food is fantastic. The dishes are innovative and the menu changes based on what's fresh. It's a bit pricey, but then again - good seafood usually is. I think the menu selection is way better than Shaw's. Ask for one of the "snugs" - it's a private booth (holds up to six people) which is really nice for some seclusion!
