unimpresive
There were no parts of my food that would be considered good. I was impressed by the good other reviews, but the food fell flat. The passion fruit sauce on my scallops was overpowering and horribly tart. The veggies along with the fried green tomato appetizer were flat and not very flavorful. The dessert (chocolate something) was slightly burnt or coffee flavored, I couldn't decide. The service was great, and perhaps you will have better luck than I did with the food. My wife enjoyed her selections (good gazpacho), but I cannot imagine returning to this restaurant.

Wonderful
What a great place, the place was packed, people werewating for tables and had good vibes, we get seated no later than 10 min for our resrvation, but we got complimetry champagne just for waiting. not bad. I loved it all evening. the service was helful and attentive the MD was walking around and making sure thing were good, came by our table few times. I felt very good there.

don't bother coming here
Poor, service from the front door till leaving, mediocre food, staff with attitude, wait time too long seating/food,check, don't come without a reservation (even if it looks empty). Vale prices keeps escalating, this once wait in line to get in looks like it is on it's last leg. eat elsewhere

Fabulous Find!
This restaurant is an incredible Chicago find. Exiting patrons raved to us about the food and encouraged us to go in and see for ourselves. We were seated immediately without a reservation on a Saturday night. The hostess and waitstaff were as welcoming and warm as if we were dining in their homes! The service here is absolutely top-notch. The maytag blue cheesecake appetizer was heaven on a plate. The bouillabaisse and lamb shank were the best I have ever had. The flavors were new and complex. Be prepared to have dinner over the course of a few hours. Food does not come out quickly. For dessert I recommend the chocolate and bananna bread pudding with caramel foam - or anything else! If you are thinking about wine, most bottles are priced under $40 - very affordable. Overall a great dining experience.
