best steakhouse in chicago
On Sat 9/29 we took our family to Mastros to celebrate our 40th anniversary. In a word, fantastic. From beginning in the bar to desert, service was flawless. Our waiter Derek was outstanding. It was an unforgetable dining experience. This place made Gibsons look like regular restaurant. Food was excellent and service impeccable. We will all return.

ok not great
way too loud way too dark. service good but not great considering the price. the food was good not great considering the price. restrooms difficult to find even the valet was expensive. the music was intrusive and couldnt get away from it even in the restrooms. for a dinner of over 100.00 per person i expected a meal to remember.

Value not there!
Seated upstairs, not much ambiance! When piano player started in lounge, Miami poolside music started up way too loud. I like club music in a club not a steak house. Spending $400 - $500 on a meal, I want to hear my guests! food good, service not up to par!

Overpriced
I didn't even have to pay for dinner. I felt sorry for the ones that did. The service was very good the menu overpriced for mediocre food.

Bangin steak
This place was da bomb. Steak was mad good. Seafood tower was mad good. Service was mad good. And the butter cake, three words: phe, nom, enal.
