A real surprise. A new non-Mexican restaurant on Clark street. My husband and I decided to check it out one hungry Saturday evening. The prices on the menu outside the door seemed reasonable so we ventured on. We were immediately greeted by a pleasant waitress. It was refreshing to look at a Middle-eastern menu that did not have hummus on it. I ordered a vegetarian dish with eggplant, walnut and pomegranate. My husband had a chicken entree. Our entrees came with an absolutely delicious soup, something like a minestrone or lentil soup. It was creamy, flavorful, and not too salty. The pomegranate walnut sauce, was similar to a mole sauce and was thoroughly enjoyable, although a little too sweet for my husband's taste. His chicken was very tender and perfectly seasoned. On our way out, the owner thanked us and held open the door. We will definitely be back, in fact my husband wanted to go back the next day.

Good new Persian restaurant on Clark. I enjoyed everything I had!
