Stopped here to grab a bite after West Loop antiques market. Menu looked decent and there was lots of nice outdoor space. We started with a delicious cocktail, the K.W., but then ordered their Herky burgers... This was their turkey burger which they claim came with thick cut turkey bacon and red wine onions. When we asked what that meant, we were told the onions were sauteed in red wine. We were surprised when they arrived with a very pathetic and scrawny piece of turkey bacon, and raw red onions - I hate those, which is why I asked. When we told the waitress how we surprised at the disparity between the description on the menu, and the actual burger we received a blank stare. I'm sorry, but when you pay $11 for a turkey burger you deserve a little more - or at least what they claim it is! Especially when they are new and making first impressions. The next thing was their was no mustard on the table which we both wanted and we waited, and waited, and waited - at least ten minutes while the burgers were getting cold for SOMEBODY, anybody to come out so we could ask for mustard. Alas, there was no bus boy or waitress as far as the eye could see. Finally my friend went inside to make the request, followed by another 5 minute wait. We asked a busboy that eventually appeared and we continued to wait. We were just about to say forget it when the long lost waitress came out carrying some, followed by a bus boy carrying some. She made some remark about "sorry - I'll never leave the outside again!!" We were like - great! The saving grace were the fries - they were delicious perfection served up in a paper cone accompanied by some type of spicy aoli - delish! Wish I could say the same for the pathetic herky berger and service!!
