Overpriced
I can't believe they charge $11 for that sandwich. Boy, they are getting over on people.

A true Chicago institution!
This place is amazing! From the corned beef all the way down to the chocolate cake this place is one of a kind. The walls a decked out in decades worth of memorabilia about the family tradition that this place is. A++++

outstanding, a true chicago tradition
Undoubtably the best deli in Chicago. Everything for the sandwiches to soups to salads to deserts. One of their best kept secrets has to be the beef stew. AMAZING! Oh yeah, and their breakfast is amazing too! Definitely worth the drive from anywhere in Chicagoland.

There is only one of its kind.
There is no other restaurant in Chicago like Mannys. 4-5 hot entrees daily, freshly made sliced roast beef right off the bone, AND 12 oz. hot corned beef sandwiches piled high! This is an icon in the deli business. And his Matzo Balls are incredible!

Good, but not great
It's a cafeteria-style deli, not a diner. You order at the counter so service interaction is minimal. The potato pancake was good, but very expensive for such simple food and drink (can of Dr.Brown’s). (I did not order a sandwich.) Wish it was kosher so I could bring my family. It's a very casual atmosphere and it's close to my new home so I'll definitely go again to try the breakfast menu.

Steam table and sandwiches.
Over stuffed sandwiches, tasty and almost unique steam table items. Go with an appetite! Great people behind the counter. They help you make your day.

Classic
One of oldest and reknowned delis in town for a reason. This place is a classic and you cant go wrong with your order... pastrami, corned beef, matza ball soup, desserts, etc. May seem a little pricey to some but you have to realize what you're getting... its nearly impossible to get your mouth around one of their sandwiches, let alone eating it in one sitting.
