Better food at McDonald's
The first time my wife and I ate here, we vowed not to return due to the unimpressive food. We foolishly gave Mac's a second chance and were once again disappointed. We questioned if there was alcohol in the mixed drinks served to us in dirty pint glasses and the food quality and presentation was sad once again. Although the location is great, try to avoid this place.

Better Than Your Average Pub
My wife and I eat at Mac's often. It offers good food at reasonable prices in a nice atmosphere (at least now that smoking has been banned). It's better than your average pub food, with a good selection of non-standard fare tool. I'd compare it to other gastropub favorites in the neighborhood, Floyds in Bucktown, and Silvercloud. Way better than Northside. Out of the four, it may be my favorite because they have the world's best beer on tap: Sierra Nevada. Only downside is the servicesometimes you get an attitude.
