Luke's on Harlem

Quite small, in person... not a sit-down place, although there are seats... I mainly order delivery, the drivers once in awhile show up with a faminly size pizza in 20 minutes.... insanity. pizza is good, for its style, although i'm not much for beef sandwiches, they are good here, the hot peppers are hot peppers :)

They're South Side breaded Steak sammich, with sweet, hot, and mozzarela, awesome stuff! Add a watermelon ice and its a fab meal.

I used to work not too far from Luke's and so I went there often. The food was very good and a nice alternative to the White Castle next door. I hadn't been there in years and stopped by recently. It ain't what it used to be, that's for sure. The food was mediocre (especially at those prices) and the service was not too friendly, to say the least. (If you're going to be snobs, you'd better have the merchandise to back it up.) How disappointing.

Had the cheesy fries and was in heaven. The chesse is perfect. Since I don't eat meat, my boyfriend had the beef sandwich - extra juicy. he simply said that it was the best beef sandwich he ever had. I will be back.
