travel about 2 miles north on harlem to Mr. Beef, thats the place for a real diego beef, lukes put some meat on your sandwich !

this was the first and last time i will be eating Luke's. I ordered 2 beef sandwiches, one extra juicy, one juicy, could not tell the difference. The beef was pretty tasteless and the bread not very fresh. Also ordered cheese fries, the cheese was almost inedible. My boyfriend also got a slice of cheese pizza which was cold and the sauce was very sweet..i have had better tasting pizza from the freezer section of the grocery store. Lastly was reall looking forward to my italian lemonade, (how can u screw that up?) it was horrible..too sweet with a very artificial lemon taste..Really dissapointed Luke's and i have lived in this neighborhood for 20 years and never tried u guys I guess with good reason huh?

First of all is it just me or do they always have to call you back with the total,arrrrrgh,or give you 95% ICE & 5% pepsi. The only thing I really like is the italian beef everything else sucks.The pizza is almost like your eatin cheese on paper idk its just nasty. There burgers are always a mess fries are always greasy.They are so damn pricey I just ordered today 2 combos and I spent $20 that's crazy.Oh and there service also sucks they always mess up the orders.Like I said I'm skeptical about them but I just love there italian beefs idk why there sooo good.

It’s about lunchtime at work and I can’t stop thinking about Luke’s Beef! I’m craving it! I only experienced this for the first time yesterday and it was just an otherworldly experience. I’ve had it from others, Roma’s Beef, Mr Beef Johnnies but this was the best and most satisfying beef experience I’ve ever had. I’m counting down the minutes until lunch and I’m heading back for more. The best part is that I spent next to nothing for the sandwich and it came with fries and a pepsi! Usually low prices mean slow service but not in this case. The service was friendly and quick!

Hands down this is the best late night food joint in the City of Chicago. The beef stands up to Johnnie's, Jay's, and Al's anyday. In fact I'm currently talking my fiance into having them cater our wedding!

Lukes has amazing food from pizza, to beefs, to their french fries and even their drinks are refreshing. Their hours are awesome so if you get hungry really late; most likely they are the only place open, but with great food. I've never had a bad experience with Luke's or its associates. When we get delivery it is very quick, easy, and our food shows up on a great schedule.

good pizza for sure.. as well as the Italian ice.. but yet. somewhat pricey.... should be closed on the holidays.. everyone needs to spend time with their family those days.. don't you think??
