    Poor Service

Have been to Lucia's twice. Liked it enough to return, but second visit was disappointing. Lucia's lost our reservation, admitted it was their mistake but did not apologize or try to make it right (i.e. offer to seat us later). There were numerous empty

    Great home-cooked style food

I was holidaying in Chicago last week from London UK and had the pleasure of dining at Lucia's Restaurant. The food was truly magnificent and superbly prepared - very flavoursome and tasty. I recommend this Italian restaurant very highly for great meals

    My fave italian in Chicago

I am a big fan of Italian food, and have tried many of the restaurants in Chicago. Though many other Italian restaurants have good traditional Italian (for me, that is mainly a measure of the taste of their marinara sauce), Lucia's is the best as far as

    Intimate Italian

The food here is authentic italian and delicious; the portions are generous, but not gigantic (a good thing!); the waitstaff attentive and the owners friendly. It is a cozy dining room, with some interesting artwork on the walls - a good casual place for
