Every single time we go to this Leona's I have a bad experienced. I have been left at a table for 20 minutes waiting for my orderto be taken. I have had items left out of my food (HELLO...chicken pizziola pizza has to have pepperoni or its just chicken pizza). The last time was it for me. It's noisy and I honestly don't think that management cares how horrible the servers are, because nothing ever changes! I have been to the Rodgers Park location and had a totally different experience. My advice: save yourself some aggrevation, go Hyde Park produce and eat at home!

Ordered in from Leona's and ugh, it was totally icky. The ribs have this gross tomatoey barbecue sauce on it that tastes like warmed-over pasta sauce with some spices added, steak skewers were dried out and mangy, and the salad was about 1/2 the size of the ones you get in the restaurant, for the same price. They forgot to include a number of delivery items, and when we called to point it out they didn't offer to do anything to fix it - no credit, no new delivery. Um, what?

I love the wings here! They are big and flavorful. The only problem is every time I order these for pick up they are 10-20 minutes later than the quote time! But the wings are great and the pizza is good so of course I will go back.

While I appreciate Leona's attempt to marry wholesome food (e.g. chicken without hormones, no GMO's, etc.) with good sized portions, the Hyde Park Leona's falls short. I have eaten there on several occasions and will do so no more. The food taste is below average, almost as if it is a cardboard replica of real foodd to look nice but lacking flavor or anything to make it unique or interesting. The service is often extremely slow and overall it's just not worth it when there are so many other quality restaurants in the neighborhood.

I live in Rogers Park and order from Leonas (grubhub.com) all the time. We have tried other pizza places but now ONLY use Leona's. I don't understand why there are bad reviews. Tonights pizza was the vegetarian thin crust. We chose sun dried tomatoes, onion, black olive and spinach. The crust was crispy, the top slightly browned and my mate and I agreed this was the best pizza we ever had. The delivery people are always nice and we've never had to wait too long or had a bad experience. So order from them!

I actually like Leona's food a lot, even though it's just typical American dishes. The portions are huge, which is fantastic. The only problem is the service is totally whack. I've been served here by a waiter who has been the best waiter I've been served by in years.... But most of the time the wait staff either doesn't come by except twice or forgets something in the kitchen... Still, they're always friendly, so it's not so bad as other places.
