Really good
Go to Lazo's. It just is good mexican food. Simple tastes done well. In a city that has good Mexican food all over, this is one of the better places. Like Garcias in lincoln square but with smaller burritos.

Great stuff and cheap!
Lazo's is a delicious mexican restaurant, joining Arturo's next door as reasons no one should ever go to the nearby McDonald's. Lazo's has a large dining room, and a bunch of TVs. The salsa is some of the best I've ever had, and the prices are unbelievable. The advantages of Lazo's over Arturo's: They have a full bar and more space for larger parties, most of the beef and pork products taste slightly better, the tortas are great, and the refried beans are unbelievably delicious. The menu has a few more options as well. The only downside is that the TVs get a little distracting, so if you're looking to have a good conversation while you eat, Arturo's is better.

Late night munchies?
When partying late night in the wicker park/bucktown scene, ending you night at Lazos is the end all be all. Open late and authentic. Sometimes there might even be a straggler hanging around, make sure you got a good buzz on though.
