    Not so good

We tried this restaurant because of the good reviews and I truly believe people have lost their taste buds! The food was too salty, the salsa was average, the guacamole was mediocre, and the service was terrible. The waiter was slow even though he had just three tables. We only saw him when he took the order, delivered the food, and to take the money. I DO NOT recommend this restaurant. There are much better Mexican restaurants in the city.

We travel from the burbs just for this restaurant

The food at this restaurant is incredible. The service is fantastic. We have never had a bad experience here and eat here about 5 times a month. We live in the suburbs and drive in just for this restaurant. Excellent food at reasonable prices with incredible service and a fun festive atmosphere. I can not recommend it enough.

    Favorite restaurant in the neighborhood

I love this place--the food is fairly authentic (though a little overpriced in comparison with what you could get in a divey taqueria) and extremely tasty. I recommend the tacos de bistec or the flautas, both with huge portions of the salsa verde. I'm a huge fan of the refried beans they serve on the side, too--possibly the best I've ever had, and I'm a fanatic about refried beans. The margaritas are excellent, as well. They come in the standard lime, as well as strawberry and mango (and possibly another flavor I'm forgetting). To me, there is no better way to spend a summer evening in this neighborhood than by relaxing at one of the sidewalk tables here with a big pitcher of margaritas and a huge plate of food.
