Yummy wood-fired in a cool atmosphere!
We've eaten at La Madia five times, and I actually love the pizzas more each time I go. They honor their reservations, have a unique & varied wine list (lots of good offerings by the glass and you can choose either a 4 or 7 oz. pour!), very pretty atmosphere (good for a date!) and the pizzas are to die! Fave pies are: prosciutto, cracked egg & fresh pepper; pepperoni & truffle oil, margherita. Salads are large enough to share. Skip the pastas, the pizzas are the reason to eat here.

Mozzarella Class and beyond
Joined la Madia last weekend for their Mozzarella class, which was taught by Chef Jonathan Fox. All my questions and concerns about pizza making and mozzarella were thoroughly answered. Jonathan Fox showed his dedication and passion for cooking and food throughout this demonstration. I wish I attended his previous classes. Afterwards, we were served the triple pepperoni with white truffle oil and a special artichoke and roasted tomato pizza. Both felt as if they brought me back to Italy with a nice twist. There is also a weekly changing red and white wine of the week, which is specifically chosen by chef fox. The price per bottle and glass stays constant for this selection as well. Can't wait to return!
