Great All Around
I had been going there for many years even prior to this new location. The People are fantastic. The food is to die for. The Arroz con Camarones is Fantastic...

Great Food for a good price!
We love eating here, and enjoy taking friends - we've been to La Fonda probably ten times since it's opened and never once been disappointed. We get seats easily; the food is fast, hot and tasty! The empanadas are outstanding.

South American Cuisine with a Flare
My wife and I have been regulars here since stumbling upon it a few years ago. The Seafood is always delicious (arroz con mariscos in particular) Try the Arepas (a corn pancake) with bacon-wrapped shrimp as an appetizer. The specials are always a treat.

Great Neighborhood Spot!
My husband and I ate at La Fonda last night and we loved it! The atmosphere is very warm and inviting and the food was delicious. Even on a Thursday night, there was a steady flow of customers. We had the spinach-mushroom empanadas to start, I had the arroz con camarones, and my husband had the cazuela de mariscos. Both servings were large and full of seafood, and delicious! For dessert, we shared the brevas bon helado, which was excellent -- the figs had a spicy taste to them which went well with the ice cream. The service was excellent, and the place had a really nice vibe to it -- amongst the families and couples, there were several people dining on their own or studying on one of the tables while they enjoyed a huge plate of food. Plus, the ceiling is really neat! We would defnitely go back.
