Go on a Monday night!
$3 margaritas on Monday nights! Nice place to hang out in Humboldt Park. Great appetizers. Love the guacamole. Plenty of parking on North Avenue in the evening.

Chips are never free at, "La Encantada", but who wants chips and salsa when you can choose from unique appetizers, like, "Nopales", a cactus salad with flavors that are unrecognizable to the average American diner. Guests can ask questions and learn about real authentic Mexican food, like "Chile en Nogada" . Fabulous!! This is NOT a taco and burrito establishment. This restaurant is a gem in our growing Humboldt Park community, and we are grateful! Gracias!

No chips no salsa
When we talk about Mexican restaurants, we think about their complementary chips and salsa. This is not the case at this restaurant because not only you have to pay for your not tasty chips but also for the salsa. Their baked tortilla chips are tasteless and hard to bite. Drinks are really expensive and they are served in small glasses filled with ice. No parking is available in the area.
