I love this restaraunt for the atmosphere but cannot get past the rude service just for okay food. I am suprised that someone from France would use so many frozen ingredients. The table service in my 10 or so visits has been poor. Will I go back? Maybe. I just know better than to expect great service and great food.

I am a die hard La Creperie fan. It truly is a unique and warm atmosphere but candle light? It has no more. I was disappointed the last time I visited my favorite Chicago creperie. Those little details make your dinning experience memorable. Of course I noticed this candle omission and I'm sure that I'm not the only one. By replacing real candle light flames with flickering electronic battery devices--kills the mood. Bring back the real candles people!

I've been coming here for almost 30 years. I cannot express just how charming and wonderful it is. The food is amazing. I love the lemon crepe for desert. In a town where so many places open and close within just a year or so, this place is a keeper. God bless Germain and his family (and Sarah, RIP) for making this one of the best places to eat in the city. If you get the chance, please do eat here. You cannot go wrong.

I visited Chicago twice in the last four months, and ate at La Creperie both times. What a cool, laid-back, unpretentious place! The chicken curry crepe was perfectly paired with the mango chutney, and the Coq au vin crepe was rich and hearty. You must, must, MUST have the chocolate crepe with Grand Marnier poured over it. I've rarely been reduced to speechlessness over a dessert, but words fail to describe how much I enjoyed this, my new favorite.

I'm never disappointed with Le Creperie. The food is delicious and the atmosphere superb. A great place to go to relax, have some wine, and enjoy the candlelight.
