I am a mexican and this is real mexican food
I work downtown and I have had people drag me to a place to have mexican food and they all sucked. Chipole sucks and if you like it you have no clue of meican food. the rice is authentic and the beans are just like my grandma made. I can get a steak torta dinner which includes the beans and rice for $7. You also can get meican coke cola and they have awesome music puping up the jam! crowded yes but they are the ONLY choice in downtown for real mexican food. nuff said

Good...but the place is small and crowded.
I like food from there, but everytime I go there is always a line...and the place is small so you always feel like your leaning over peoples food. Other then that good food.

Friendly, Fast and Fabulous
Cant beat the service, the food and the atmosphere. Great spot if you are looking for a mid-day pick-me-up- as you will leave the place dancing! Looks like a hardworking family business and i am all about supporting the cause. Get there before noon to avoid the line.

Solid Spot for a Mexican Lunch
I've been here a couple of times and have been pleased with the food and service. Tables can be tough to get as it's very busy at lunch. The food is pretty good, and I though portions were a good value. Last time in I got two taco salads, two bottle of water, two tacos and a gordita for under 20 bucks.

Bland Flavor Incarnate
If you want mediocre, not-so-authentic, standard burritos and tacos, this place is for you. I'm not a particular fan of Chipotle's or Q'doba's watered down flavor, but what they've got is cheaper and tastier than La Cocina Mexican Grill. Major flavor disappointment here...and I gave it three separate tries because some friends and people I work with insisted on trying it! Oh, and I normally I don't really care about service in a Mexican place as long as the food's good, but the second time I went to this little place a large group of what appeared to be unfortunate coworkers wandered in and the manager asked my girlfriend and I to vacate the premises to make room! We hadn't even finished our food yet!

Very tasty!
This place has great dance music. Even if the line is long, the orders are quick and the food comes out very fast too. This food it the best I've ever had!
