    Very Fun and Breezy

The atmosphere in this place is great! It is very colorful and has pictures of Frida everywhere. The windows in the front open to give a great breeze while dining. The Mole was FANTASTIC! The Guacamole was also very fresh. We will certainly go back and try to save room for dessert this time!

    Limited menu and disappointing service

We went to Frida's on Father's Day and sat in the garden, which was pleasant. The inside of the restaurant also was pretty. However, the menu was surprisingly limited one typed page with only a few appetizers and main courses. Even worse, nothing our party had stood out as delicious. I had the trio of tamales as a main course , which were plain and nothing special. I was charged extra for the side of rice and beans, and they also were nothing special. Our waiter did not seem too interested in serving us, even though the restaurant was fairly empty. The worst part about the service was that the waiter added in a 20% tip for himself (we were a group of five). Because it was Father's Day and I did not want to make a fuss in front of my relatives, I let it go, but I think this is a very tacky practice and will think twice about going back given that the food and service were below standard for Andersonville. How sad. And I really wanted to like this place.
