Tamales
They have good tamales. They're the best when you put them on a comal the next day and have them with a cup of coffee...just like the days in Mexico.

More bad service
Too bad, another place with great food and crappy service. More than once, I.,ve gotten really bad service either through attitudes, forgetful waitstaff, menu cofusion. Dont go there, there is plenty of other good food in pilsen.

great mexican place :)
I agree with fred, very nice change to the place down the street. Do check out the art! The food is amazing. I can't wait for them to do come catering for me. Good quality and good services. the flan is delicious!!!!!

great food, great price :)
They have moved to 1807 S. Ashland and have remodeled it extensively what was once a "fruteria." The food is great and the price is even better. They have great desserts to savor like arroz con leche and flan, my favorite. The food is really really good... the pechuga rellena is a must to try! okay well I hope you check this place out, a little treasure in Pilsen... not to mention it looks fantastic inside... check out the art. :)
