I live three blocks away, and watched as this place was built, and now expanded. Service is slower, not that it was ever good. Despite the expansion, there has been no improvement to the ventilation, so your eyes sting from the smoking grease. To the good, the meat and produce used are good quality. To the bad, the staff have a heavy hand with salt, and pay less attention to side dishes than to the meat. Today, besides the two burritos, one steak and one of rajas, I ordered a bag of chips, guacamole, pico de gallo, beans and rice. These are all menu items, not gimmes, so they should be well prepared. The chips were greasy and cold. The guacamole salty, with heavy garlic. The beans were salty and dry, as though prepared three days ago. The rice was hard and tasted of bullion cube. The pico de gallo was very good, the rajas had a good flavor, the steak burrito had very little meat in it. I was there the day this place opened, and I think they expanded for nothing. The food is less good as the months pass. Soon those extra seats will be empty, as word of mouth spreads about the declining quality and value.

I ordered beans to go and I was totally disappointed I came back to return them and the owners was super kind. He replaced my order and apologize profusely. My initial experience was not good but the second time around it was great. I felt valued and respected as a customer. He allow me to select anything I wanted. I ordered the corn on the cob and it was delicious. He also added guacamole and chips. The guacamole was excellent.
