My wife and I have been there 3 times already and we really like it. Nice atmosphere, great food (accomodating for vegetarians), a good spot for a date! One item I really like is there's a nice flat screen on the end wall over the bar (just in case you're like me like to check the game from time to time!)

I have never been a fan of sushi as the idea of eating raw fish is extremly disgusting to me. But Kyoto introduced me to many different kinds of sushi without all the raw fish...it was DELICIOUS!! so if you're squeamish about eating raw fish....go to kyoto!! Although I'm sure other sushi restaurants have non-fish dishes....they probobably can't beat the quality and service of Kyoto.

I've been here a few times and the food is really good. I don't know how they stay in business because every time I go in there's only 1 or 2 other groups there. The huge advantage about this is you get your food really fast and your waiter/waitress can help you pick out what you want.

I have eaten at many, many different Sushi restaurants in Chicago and we always come back to this one and have done so for the last 14 years. The Sushi is the absolute freshest in town. The rolls are incredible and the signature roll, "Dynomite" is exactly that! There is no gimmick to the food. They are not mixing Buffalo Pate with the Tempura. The atmosphere is laid back. the food is always consistant and value wise it is absolutely the bang for the buck. If good Sushi is what you want, without being charged for all the hype, then Kyotos is the restaurant. My recommendations are the Dynomite Roll, the Cucumber Crab Roll, and the Special Eel Roll. But all of the food is simply delicious.

The sushi at Kyoto is very good and all the ingredients used are fresh. The atmosphere is not ritzy - very laidback and comfortable. The prices cannot be beat - most of the maki rolls offered are under $5.00. The owner was also very friendly and welcoming. Overall it is a definite must for sushi fans!

I have been going to Kyoto for several years and have never been disappointed! The sushi is consistently fresh and the price is right. And I never have to wait for a table. There is a warm, family atmosphere and the service is always prompt and curteous.
