Wow. The burgers are enormous. Mine was cooked just short of medium and it was delicious. Had the blue cheese and bacon Kaijo. Included waffle fries and it was only $10. I was stunned. Sit at the bar and the music isn't overwhelming.

Aside from the wait, flawless!

Yeah..Not the best burger i've had in my lifetime that's for sure...and if some of you say that kuma's burger is the best then you haven't had a burger yet ..i will go there again ..if kuma's is buying :) overall it was fine but not sublime (am harsh food critic)

I love kumas! not your typical place to eat. They are blasting metal, which if you dont like heavy music, DONT COME HERE.. You aren't gonna have lounge music in the fucking background... The food is EXCLLENT, the service is pretty good, i mean with how packed this place always is, it's pretty good, and considering the kitchen is as small as it is.. It's not a place for large parties, because it's not a big place at all.. But the atmosphere of the place is what makes it a great place! The only problem some people might have, is there is usualy a pretty long wait to get seated.. But when you get seated and get your food, IT'S WORTH IT!!

The food was good, but the music was wayyyy too loud! I understand it fits the ambiance of the place, but come on! My party had to squeeze in so tight that we were practically shouting in each others ears. The burgers were tasty, but all I could think about was getting out of there. Perhaps I'll have to stick to take out.

Not sure what's going on with all the people claiming bad service. I've been to Kuma's at least a dozen times, and never been treated rudely. Sure, it's a tiny-ass kitchen so certain times there is a ridiculous wait time, but it's always been worth it to me. There is nothing like a burger from Kumas, I am trying to cross all of them off the list. Black Sabbath, Kuma Burger, and Lair of the Minotaur are my faves.

We went to this place in late July, based on some review I recall seeing on "Check Please". Honestly, I think the place is over-rated. Too much hype over ground beef and beer. I doubt anyone would expect a burger joint to be "fine dining", so I didn't go expecting the Pump Room. It seems as if the place believes it has reinvented the wheel, but I didn't think my burger was extraordinary. I can't understand why anyone would get excited over free RC refills. That's pretty standard practice in most restaurants around here. The wait for a table was about a half hour, and another 35 minutes for food, which seemed odd because they didn't seem busy. I really believe you can have a better burger experience at R.J. Grunts or Wildfire. We have no intention of going back to Kumas. The place is simply not worth the time or money.
