I just recently moved from NYC, and was a little disappointed in the lunch rush selection the Loop has to offer for vegetarians. But I have just found a little piece of home! Kramer's may not look pretty, but let me tell yah, the little veggie cafe upstairs is not to be missed! I'm currently munching on the most delicious Vegetarian Curry Stew I've had in years! The smell is just heavenly! And the chefs behind the counter are so sweet and friendly, they legitamately want you to have an enjoyable meal. Brush up on your Spanish, they may give you a playful quiz.

I am always very excited to take a trip to Kramers. They have everything that a vegetarian/whole/organic eater would ever desire. There prepared food is always fresh and very good. This is the only place I can go to and not feel even the slightest bit of guilt for eating what is in front of me. They have many body products, a large selection of tea and canned items and some frozen foods as well. The juice guys upstairs are extremely friendly and accommodating, which seems to balance out the men downstairs who are a little off. Thier lunch specials are great and inexpensive. they also are very health/environmentally conscious, from the type of water they cook with to the kinds of bags and containers they use. Please go here!!! It is very refreshing!

I am a vegetarian and I can't believe I just found out about this place! I just got a veggie burger, huge bowl of lentil soup and fresh squeezed juice for $6! I'll be here often. They have very yummy, quality food in their cafe and a huge selection of retail items. Go here.

This juice bar has an amazing lunch special of spinach pie, a large bowl of soup AND a small mixed juice for only 4.99! They also have a selection of really exciting smoothies and juices. I can only finish everything if I've skipped breakfast. Once in awhile the soups are a little bland, but there's salt and a lot of spices on the counter to doctor things up. Still, Kramer's is the best healthy food in the Loop, bar none. They have a faithful group of regulars - and its easy to see why. I go here every change I get. The juice bar guys are really nice and always accomodating, so make sure to leave them a tip!
