Best Sushi I have Ever Had
Far and away the best sushi I have ever had! I have been to several high end sushi restaurants, and nothing has even come close to the quality and level of service you will get at Kaze. We found this place in Bon Appetit magazine rating Kaze as one of the top 10 sushi restaurants in the US. The waiter was excellent and the food was unlike any other sushi I have ever had. Kaze is not a cheap restaurant but is well worth the price. We opted to chose our own entrees, but will definitely be back soon for the chef's menu.

Fantastic Sushi!
Great sushi and a hip, modern, atmosphere. The alaskan king crab is phenomonal, but they might not have it because it is a daily special. However, not a place to go very often.(expensive) They also have great filet mingon for a sushi restaurant.

Extremely Satisfying!!!
My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant to try it out. It was amazing! We felt very comfortable there. The food was wonderful. We ordered a couple rolls to start out and ended up buying more. My boyfriend had the Smoked Salmon and Soft Shell Crab Roll and I had the Hamachi Ebi Tempura. After that we ordered from the seasonal menu. He ordered the Spicy Tako and I ordered the White Tuna. (with a banana wasabi puree) The service was excellent, he came by several times but we did not feel harassed. We also drank Kiran beer. The food was great, the service was excellent, the value is definitely your money's worth, and the atmosphere was surprisingly welcoming. We spent about $15 dollars each plus drinks. Although, you can find some vegetarian rolls for $3. A great place if you want to eat inexpensively, not cheaply, and if you have the money, you could be a little bit fribulous. Also, you may not see it at first. It is directly on the corner with black awnings. (there is no sign)

Not your average sushi!
I was invited to this restaurant by a coworker, and we were treated to a divine 4-course meal. I have to say, that this unusual take on traditional japanese fare was an incredible journey - and I loved every bit of it. We had some of the most delectable and beautiful food I've ever tasted. They aim to impress with both sight and flavor, and are a hit on both accounts. The decor could stand some changes (the cold, metallic kitchen is in plain sight of the dining room - too much of a contrast. But the simple setting is condusive to good conversations as well as spying on what intriguing dishes your neighbors are being served. Service was excellent. If you like sushi, you must try this place - and if you don't, there is plenty of food for you to eat as well... it's not ONLY sushi!!

Un. Be. Lievable...I almost cried
You haven't lived until you've eaten at Kaze. I'm going to keep this short to avoid rambling forever, but suffice it to say that a self-declared food snob was blown away by every single bite. One of my best friends is a sushi chef, and I took a full menu home that I plan to send him. The flavor combinations are subtle and sublime, not just a bunch of weird crap thrown together for the sake of being different (believe me, I know bad fusion when I taste it.) The fish is ocean-fresh, buttery-soft, and expertly-sliced. With toppings like burdock root, marinated mushrooms, and truffle oil, this is not your standard sushi fare. MUST TRY: the special nigiris and rolls. Odd as it sounds, the asparagus pudding is delicious! I'm saving the black sesame flan from my next trip there, which will be very soon. My one complaint is totally subjective: the waiter was fast, attentive, and explained everything thoroughly, but was a bit pretentious. A bit pricey ($$$$, not $$$) but well worth it.
