Amazing food
My husband and I went just a couple nights ago and loved it. My husband never gives a rating of more than "ok". He gave Kan Zaman a very high compliment and said this is his new spot. He loved it. Everything was cooked to perfection and fresh. We had the hummus, salads, filet kabob and KZ combo. Love that its byob. Bring a Malbec. This is a must "go".

Poor value for your money
Decent food, good location and atmosphere, but not worth the money. The staff was rude as we had a big party of people, and they assumed we weren't ordering but using their place to drink. We definitely felt rushed. They charge $7 to share a plate! So it's BYOB, fine. But be warned, they charge a ridiculous amount for bottle opening..

Soo Fun!
We went with a big group for a birthday on a saturday an We had a blast! The BYOB is amazing in river north. The belly dancers were a blast. it was a night filled with laughs and great food.

Enjoyed my night
I went here to celebrate a birthday of a family member. There were 3 of us. The place made us feel special. Service was excellent, food was excellent, ambiance just great. It was a quiet night, not many customers, and we got the attention from staff as if we were royalty. Tried the hookah for the first time here and loved it. The food is amazing, you must go and try as many dishes as you can. I will definitely return soon.

Amazing food + BYOB + belly dancer = great value
A fantastic spot for groups who want good atmosphere and "something a bit different." Really good, simple Lebanese food...belly dancer on some nights...and BYOB. Service is solid and they do well with groups.

Great Place
I went with some friends at 8:30 on a Saturday and had a wonderful experience. I had the KZ special with three different kabobs and they were perfectly cooked and seasoned. My friend had the vefetarian combination and it was one of the best dishes not involving meat I have had lately. Their BYOB policy makes this place very reasonable for the location, food and atmosphere. The dancer came on at the place exploded. I highly recommmend Kan Zaman.

A Must!
This was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to! The food was excellent (I thought a little on the expensive side, but totally worth it), and the atmosphere was incomparable. Between the awesome booths, the belly dancer, and the hookah it was absolutely phenominal. I strongly recommend everyone to check this place out. Next time I'm in Chicago I'm definitely going to go back. Truly, this place is jewel!
