disappointed
I must be one of the few that think this restaurant is overpriced and not overly friendly. We went for steak night were the steaks were mediocre at best, service nice but not special and did not feel welcomed at all. Their burgers are the only safe option on the menu and I feel this place is over rated and over priced.

Best burger in Chicago
All the food at Jury's is good, but go for the burgers. I've yet to find a better burger anywhere in Chicago ... or anywhere. Its fresh-off-the grill taste makes you feel like you're at a summer cookout, and yet it still ranks as comfort food on an inclement day. The service is excellent, as the owners treat customers like long-time friends-and many of them are exactly that, because this place begs you to return over and over. The informal decor is almost like a family room, and it's cared for with obvious pride by people who care less about decor du jour than homey comfort. Prices are more than reasonable, but if you get on their mailing list, you'll get in on specials that ensure you never pay full price.
