jack of all entrees but master of nothin

There are some great things but if you dont know your asian cuisine this huge menu will totally bewilder you. they have so many items on the menu i feel like they don't give every entree the best effort they could. i stop here umerous times a week for bubble tea because it is so fresh and amazing. However, It's one of those places that you need to know what's good so you don't get dissapointed. i eat here very often out of sheer convenince. worst pad thai ever. this place is good but not great. nice service. (this is a review for the halsted location)

    So worth it.

Go here on a weekend and expect to wait. The Chinatown location is teeny-tiny and the restaurant is kind of hideous, itself--the wall colour reminds me of a hospital--but oh my god, is this good food. I would wait an hour on a Saturday night, and have, just to fulfill my craving for a really good bubble tea. You will eat on one entree for two to three days if you've got a stomach of any normal capacity. Highly, highly recommend the Thai-style chicken/squid/pineapple fried rice, the baked rice dishes, and the Singapore noodles.

    Good gooooood dinner!!

Yum...is the way to describe this place. Dinner portions are big and chinese family style.....don't expect to finish one dish by yourself! My bf really liked the singapore rice noodle dish we got...very tasty. We also got the lychee berry boba tea...OMG YUM!!! My sister told me how everyone knows joy yee's is the place to go and i TOTALLY agree....cheap, good eats with big portions! :)
