This place looks like your old fashinoned neighborhood Chicago hot dog stand, but it is a real find. You get tremendous value when you get the specials. You can get a skirt steak, huge order of fries, salad and garlic bread for under $9, or a full chicken dinner with sides and salad for under $7. The best thing about the place is that they have the absolute best french fries of any fast food place I have ever had, and believe me, thats a lot. They are crisp and lightly seasoned to perfection. The brothers who own the place are very accomodating. This is the hot dog place to go among the many in the State Street area.

Was in the area this weekend from out of town! Was supposed to be going to a trendy spot for breakfast, but there was a 15 min. wait. We turned around and looked across the street, and there was a diner-style spot. We said, Why not! We went there for breakfast Saturday and Sunday, each spending $7, and couldn't eat it all. The best breakfast steak I ever had!!!

We went to grab breakfast here. Johnny (the person behind the counter) was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a great value, I only spent a couple dollars for oj and a breakfast sandwich w/ meat.. Definetly a local secret that everyone visiting should check out!!
