Great food, atmosphere, service at bar
The food here is outstanding, whether you go for Stone Crab claws in season, steaks, or just a delicious Caesar Salad. Stats and Dana are two of the best, friendliest and most accomplished bartenders anywhere. Never had a bad meal here after 20+ visits. Tip, you can order any of the salads or deserts in half orders, makes you feel less guilty for that 1/2 slice of Key Lime Pie.

Great Food & Service
Dined at Joe's for boyfriend's birthday - our server John was wonderful, and they brought us out a complimentary dessert for our celebration, too. The food is great, the atmosphere is bustling...I think my only complaint is the placement of our table - we were seated right in the middle of a major walkway, lots of action around our table and we would have preferred something more intimate (we did have a reservation, too...and they knew it was for a b-day celebration - a table more "out of the way" would have totally been appreciated). Overall a great place, it's pricey but worth it for a special occasion. Don't miss the key lime pie or the crispy onion strings. Great fresh fish, too...

A Windy City Favorite
I waited a long time to eat at Joe's Stone Crab but it was well worth the wait! The food was extremely good even though I didn't have the namesake Stone Crab. My stuffed filet of sole was the best I've ever had and the side dishes were extremely good as well! My daughter's filet mignon & lobster tail were at the very top of the food scale too. This place is a classic and worth the money spent. It's really a place to back to again....and again.

Awesome
My favorite restaurant in the city... been there a few times and each visit ordered a wide array of selections, each one being great. Crab claws are amazing as advertised, but the crab legs were also delicious.

Go there now
This place is amazing. Highly suggest only ordering the Stone Crab Claws, or at least start with those and go from there. I guarentee that's all you'll want. We ordered filets too, which were great, but would have rather had another plate of the crab claws! Worth every penny! Are you on your way?

Best Steak I've Ever Had
I'm a big steak eater. I go to steakhouses all the time. I've never had a better steak than the bone-in filet I had at Joe's Stone Crab. Fantastic home fries too.

Impeccable Service
I love the food...portions are amazing! Our waiter made everything sound sooo good, (great salesman) Crab cakes are the best...especially with the sauce... Australian Lobster tails were unbelievable...pork chops are so juicy...can't wait to go back...will definitely try Joe's in Miami...and the bonus was there was a celebrity sighting!!!
