And this is a pretty large "BUT"... My trips to Jerry's are becoming fewer and further between. Since they've opened in the summer, only ONCE has my order been correct. I wish I had what it takes to just chalk it up and never go back, but sometimes, I want to try one of their daily specials and I end up giving Jerry's another chance. On top of consistent kitchen errors, the service I receive there really is far less than acceptable. I've called in an order and have been on hold long enough to leave my house, walk to Jerry's and start placing the order before they've picked up. I have walked in and waited at the hostess booth to place a carry out order for a few minutes without a single word from the host. What's the industry standard for "greet time"? 5, 6 seconds? I'm really curious to know if I'm the only one who can count on two trips to Jerry's so she can get the sandwich she ordered the first time. Why can't I remember to check the box before I leave? It's always corrected and there's always an apology, but how on earth can they get this restaurant to work? This place is a pain in the

Not sure what happened when the other two reviewers went but I've been a few times now and have had great service and really like the grub. It's called "Jerry's Sandwiches" but it's no ordinary sandwich shop. They have something like 100+ sandwiches (a bit mindboggling) and one of the best beer lists in Wicker Park or Bucktown.

I agree with the above comment. Been to Jerry's twice. Amazing food with a huge selection of sandwiches and beers from around the world. However, while the servers were friendly, both times had to deal with rude and short hosts. Almost bad enough to the point I'd think twice about heading back there considering there are plenty of other good places to eat within walking distance of Jerry's.

I've been here several times. Each time the food has been fantastic, and the service has been poor. Everyone is rude. Get delivery or carryout.
