Bad service
Good food, snobby hostesses, bad customer service. Been there once, the food was pretty good, next time, the service was so bad, with over 40 mins of wait time, after having made prior reservations!!!!!! Not returning!!!

good eats
Living out of state i always find myself at Janes when i come into town. The cooks are great and the owner is even better. Always friendly and fun.

Very nice neighborhood restaurant
The reason I gave the food a 3.5 is because it is inconsistent. Sometimes delicious, sometimes not so much. The burrito was problematic - soggy and bland. A few times our food has been a bit salty and/or oily. The tuna salad is perfectly fresh and light. The grilled shrimp and mango is the perfect combination of spicy and sweet. The monkfish is tender and flavorful. It's not the cheapest weeknight meal, but we always have a good time, and I love the outdoor seats at Jane's.

NOT vegetarian friendly
how disappointing to find that this cutest of cute spots - reputedly vegetarian friendly - serves nothing more than a frozen garden burger patty...and for $11.00, no less. the only other option was a vegetarian burrito. when i asked for it without the goat cheese, i was told they couldn't do that, as their burritos were pre-made that morning. ew.

great!
this is a very cozy home-like restaraunt. it has a great variety of food and it is amazing dinning experience
