VERY GOOD FOOD, AWFUL SERVICE!!
I have been going here for a while because the food is real real good. but the service is sad!! sometimes u call in and they dont even have your order, then they dont even act like u exist at times!! but with that being said i still go, but just never know what to expect everytime i go, is such adventure always!!! but like i said food is very good! GOOD LUCK!!

Terrible customer service is an embarressing
I love the food. It is the best jerk chicken I have had in my life. The owner is the best cook in the world. I remember she used to cook for Jan's Jerk befor she got her own establishment. She needs to re-hire a whole new staff. You can not get your calls answers. You order and go to pick it up and you still wait an hour or more. I highly reccommended your establishment ot all my friends, co-workers and church family. However, when they all went they were not happy with the service. I was totally embarressed. I still eat there but, I refuse to reccommend this place to anyone else. The staff is terrible.

Irie on 79th
This is some of the best Jamaican food I've ever tasted. It reminds me of Negril...the atmosphere is modest (just like Negril) but the food....maaaaannnnn the food is like fi-yi-yiiiiii...everything from the oxtails to the brown stew to the basic 1/4 jerk (which is just a snack for me)...the food is crackin'.The service is good...the staff is personable & polite. I wish they had some of that bangin' rum cake but I can't win them all. When u get close to it on 79th you can smell the pit cooking the chicken....the smell is just as good as the food. The prices are very patron friendly...nothing is overpriced and everything you get is worth the money....I LOVE JAMAICAN JERK VILLA!!!!!!! I'm going to place an order right now. By the way....the sauce is bangin' too.

Bad Service=Good Food?
I love jerk chicken, but this place is quite confusing for me. The food is good but I have taste better. I cannot say it is the best, but one thing I can provide a straight forward comment on the service is terrible. the customer service is some of the worst I have ever encounter and therefore I stop spending my money to eat there even if the jerk chicken is good.

THIS CHICKEN IS GREAT!
I've had this chicken more than a few times and i luv it. I only order takeout so I've never been in the actual restaurant, they're chicken is so flavorful and it's never hit or miss. Sometimes the rice and peas are a little dry just ask 4 extra gravy and you'll b ok, other than that the chicken is excellent.
