Not the best wings in town

$11 for 6 wings that are at best medium sized. Ridiculous. Service is erratic and a recent Sunday Bloody Mary appeared to have nearly no Vodka in it.

    I love this place

I've visited Jake's several times over the past several months, and was happy every time except for once. The wings are outstanding and meaty. I was less than satisfied only once when a take out order has smaller than usual wings - but they provided extra wings to make up for it! Not bad. We usually share the massive cobb salad. Try the hefty burger of the month with a brew for a only a buck extra! The parmesan fries are pricey, but outstanding. I do recommend keeping your gym membership - and using it - if you frequent Jakes.

Excellent spicy wings! Great Brunch and the service is always good. Never had a bad dish at Jakes.

Just went there for lunch to try the "waiver" wings. They were definitely out of this world hot, but overall the lunch was a big disappointment. We had artichoke dip that tasted like it was a week old, popcorn shrimp that were hot, but way too breaded and tasteless, and the regular hot wings that were also way too breaded. After taking the dip off the bill, it was stil $50.00 for lunch with tip, and we drank iced tea. Not a fan, won't be going back. Too bad, because the location is great and the atmosphere perfect for a great bar'restaurant scene. Really had hoped for awesome wings and they came up way way short.
