great summertime outdoor seating- great food- slightly slow service, but maybe that is what restaurants are like in Costa Rica?

Came with friends, good that its byob because you will be waiting. Bad that the food was nothing special and lacking flavor. There are plenty of better options in the area.

Irazu was recommended several times by friends as a cheap great place. It's cheap but not close to great. They told us it would be 20 min for table, 1 hour later we sat. Waiter never asked us how food was. Good thing, food was terrible. I asked the waiter a question and treated like I was a kid complaining. I highly recommend you skip this small, depressing, not even close to costa rican food establishment.

That says it all, terrible service and the food is just OK. Always willing to give these guys a shot, but always disapointed in the service. Rude waiters. The food is nothing special, and never have specials.

This is one of THE best restaurants in Chicago. Their sandwiches are too die for and their shakes are so tasty. But I've had their other dishes too, like their steak dinner and burritos. The food will not disappoint. Service is friendly and family-style. I like the small location, it gives it atmosphere and coziness. Nothing to change here except I wish I ate here more often.

The food is fantastic, although the service is not so good, I always feel rushed and like I am making him do something he does not want to do by seating us. Although the food is worth it by far. The atmosperhere would be great if I did not feel so rushed, I wish they would get a bigger place!

Great Food and Shakes, nice atmosphere and wide variety of dishes. They need more space though, since it gets real crowded on weekend nights.
