    sushi great service eh...

i work down the street form HUB51 and i rarely ate there but the wsitress and the hostess were rude and looked me over like i wasnt even there on more than one occasion... i dont like that very distasteful... BUT THE SUSHI(spicy tuna, califorina rolls) a little over priced but GREATTTTTT!!!!!! TRY IT

    Surprisingly good

I didn't expect much out of this restaurant, because it is run by Rich Melman's sons. I was pleasantly surprised. Normally a resaturant with tacos and sushi on the same menu would spell diaster, but the tacos were great (I didn't try the sushi). I've been about 5 times now and I can't stop getting the tacos. The nachos are also good, very different and big enough for an entree. The carrot cake was awesome too. The servers were also very friendly for a place that is so popular and crowded. I recommend making reservations before you go.

    ONION RING KING

I've been here a couple times. I recommend one thing: chicago's best onion rings. Everything else we ate was "ok".

No service, no food - won't go back

Went to Hub 51, checked in at 8:21 p.m. - the hostess said it would be a 35-45 minute wait. So we waited and waited and went to the hostess after 45 minutes and she said it would be at least another half hour or more. Really disappointed but it seemed that they weren't organized and didn't have a clue when we would actually be seated. After waiting for over a half-hour we turned in our beeper and left. It didn't appear that people were happy when they were leaving so I assume I didn't miss anything. People seemed to be waiting to order once they were seated. Maybe they didn't have enought help?
